Rafiki had disappeared completely. No trace of him, no one had seen him, no one had heard from him. It was like he was just a figment of her imagination. Aindreas had never met him so he couldn't tell her. She seemed crazy when he had inevitably disappeared with no trace, no word. Nothing. Mai felt as if she couldn't always do something right. She was good at nurturing, calming others and what have you but she was horrible with violence. She froze up and sometimes fled when in the face of any anger towards her. Like the time back at Dierne Hrof that she had accidentally made Aindreas even angrier while trying to calm him, it scared her. It terrified her. But he had a right to be angry when the monsters, the vampires, had killed his daughter and declared war on the tempests themselves. Mai had stayed in the away from the fight as much as possible. Only coming from her den in need of food and when she needed water and if she could possibly find her brother. But that had been no luck each time.

If you are lucky, you come out the other end unchanged other than in pain, exhausted, and with a nasty scar. But those unlucky and ill-fated… they either die from the venom, or are themselves turned into a vampire. You are not useless.” His vocals continued to his her audits, she listened intently, and then smiled softly towards him. He was slightly angry that she had spoke down on herself. The lass' plume softly swayed against the earth as Aindreas' facial features softened and his cranium cocked to the side. To her, he was handsome, cute, and adorable at the same time. It made her smile a little. “What is it that you want Mai? I have lots of connections and can get you a master to study under, no matter the career path that interests you. So… what interests you?” That was a tough question when she had what she wanted, she could do what she wanted. And the fact that fighting and anger terrified her, which is what she lacked, she stopped to think for a second. What did she want? Did she want to learn to defend herself? What if she wanted to dabble in medicinal for the pack? Yes. That was it.

Looking at Aindreas she sighed a bit. "I really wouldn't mind learning some medicinal things, to help among the pack and such if something were to happen, I know we have a healer but it wouldn't hurt to have another." softly spoken, she continued to smile softly and her plume swayed slowly.
