The Cavern of Secrets holds much more than you can imagine. Once a forbidden place, the ban on entrance has been released...yet, is it a good idea to enter?

Once a great battle had been fought in this cavern, against a dark beast that had once - and still might - dwell here. No one knows where he disappeared to, but there are rumours...

The young male carried himself easily through the trees as he left the sandy beach. He had not expected to meet another that looked like him while he was out. At first Hemming had been excited to meet her, but then she had said things to him that he had never thought about before. Was he some messed up wolf for eating other hooved creatures? Sure he was a predator and needed meat, but should he be eating other types of meat? It was not something that he had ever thought of until he met Giaza. But now that he was thinking about it…it made him feel weird. Was he some sort of messed up cannibal? A frown crossed the cadejo’s features as he thought about it. There must be something wrong with him if he had never thought of this before and had just been living his life as if he was normal. But was there really something wrong with him? Maybe Giaza was the one who was wrong. She didn’t seem to be okay with herself, but Hemming was. He decided not to let what she had said get to him. He was okay with who he was, and he wasn’t going to let her change that.

A huff escaped the male as if he was making a point to someone around him. But he had been traveling alone for some time now. His hooves carried him along through the trees as he got further away from the sandy beach where he had met the femme. Maybe she could be his friend and they would hang out again. His plume wagged slowly at the thought. Hemming would make a point to go find her again if they didn’t run into each other again in the near future. But for now he was on a solo adventure. The trees grew thicker as he got further from the beach, and sky grew darker and darker as the sun’s rays ere cut off. His horizontal pupils widened as he tried to take in more light so he could see properly. After a few moments to adjust, he continued on. He wasn’t sure what he was expecting to find, but the thought of the unknown was exciting.

After some time in the trees, the young male came upon the opening of a cave. He had never been in a cave this big before. Hemming had been in the den with his mother and siblings of course, but this was different. This was huge! There could be anything in these caves, and he wanted to find out. What he did not think of was that there could be bad stuff in here too. Hemming had no idea how large the caves here really were, and that he could easily get lost forever in them. And that some darker creatures were known to reside here. But he was too excited at the thought of exploring something new to let logic creep in. So Hemming quickly bounded forward, his hooves ringing off the stone. He didn’t think to try and keep track of the turns he was taking through the caves since his journey was so slow. After just a turn or two there was no more light from the sun, and he had to travel more slowly to not walk into walls. But once he realized that there was not much here, he decided to turn back. But it was then that Hemming realized he had no way to determine how to get back. Panic began to well up in him as he frantically began to take turns. Becoming more and more lost as he had no reason for the way he turned. Without help…he may never escape this maze…
