A Cardinal singing yesterday in my neighbourhood.
Also the local Crows arrived back with much cawing in the top of my Maple over the driveway. They were gone all winter.
I saluted them with a few "caws" and they looked down at me unconcerned and continued their ruckus. They may remember me as the person who feeds them peanuts in the shell occasionally. Apparently Crows have a good memory and can identify individual people and know whether that individual has treated them good or not so good. Replies: There have been no replies.
