live life to the fullest

She was gaining more and more trust with Persephone by the minute. She truly enjoyed the mare's company and felt that she wouldn't lead her astray. She really seemed to only have Creed's best interests at heart. She didn't seem to mind at all that Creed was so insecure about a lot of things, especially the water. Anyone else might have gotten annoyed but Persephone only encouraged her every step of the way. When Persephone asked about the swim, Creed gave her her most honest answer. She didn't think she'd be jumping in the water all gung ho any time soon but at least she had one trip with no bad experiences so maybe she wouldn't be as hesitant the second time around...if there was a second time. Persephone smiled before agreeing that it was a good start.

Then she turned as if to lead Creed further into the forest. All at once, Creed felt adrenaline and eagerness in her veins. Her muscles spasmed and she arched ner neck and flared her nostrils, growing more excited by the minute. At least on land she was more confident....for the most part. When she complimented the land, she glanced ot Persephone to see her grinning. There was obvious pride in her gaze as she looked around as if seeing her herd lands for the first time. Creed felt she had every reason to be proud of this place. It looked like heaven. There were plenty of trees for shade and shelter from the sun and the grass still seemed to be getting enough sunlight to be lush and tasty looking. She wondered briefly if it would be rude to sample some before the end of her visit. She didn't even want to think about going back into that water any time soon.

She stepped in behind Persephone, letting her lead the way since obviously she had no idea where they were going. She pricked her ears and swung her head toward the other mare as she spoke, her own lips tugging into a grin as she nodded. "I would love that!" She couldn't wait to see the rest of the herd lands. If they looked anything half as good as what she saw so far, this place had to be paradise. The air around them got darker but Creed didn't mind the dark so much when she wasn't alone. She felt safe with Persephone. Suddenly the mare tilted her head, asking about Creed's former home. She felt her grin sober into a smaller smile as she thought back. "Mostly a meadow with a few trees interspersed throughout. A few creeks that ran through it and fed into a pond near the center of the herd lands. It was pretty safe, with hills around the outskirts, almost like barriers to keep others from knowing where we were. As foals, we liked to call our home the best hiding place in the world. Of course, that was before I knew there were herds surrounded by water." She smirked at the irony of her own fears.

"It was pretty and there was plenty of food." She shrugged, not sure what else to say about it. Could she admit that like a selfish filly, she just grew bored of the same monotony and decided she needed to go on an adventure? What a bright idea, that was. Now, she would give anything for that same monotony.
