Niyol was probably more naive than stupid, or maybe he was just a bit of both. He wasn’t as quick witted as his brother, instead he was filled with fun and pranks and good will. Really, he took after his father’s side of the family in that way though he was also heavily influenced by other members like his cousin Tepiltzin or Ophiuchus more recently. Still with the peaceful times he was brought up in it was hard to explain to him what real fear should be like. Closet he got was the one day that he thought Ophiuchus was a pirate and was actually a traitor who was stealing his treasures but it had been made clear he had acted and had made it all more fun for them while keeping an eye on them in the end. Now things like that permeated his mind and perhaps made him even less aware of the dangers.
So, as he explored this dangerous place, his eyes went over the lands. He was unaware that a wolf, about the same size as him, was also hiding in the grass making it so he passed her by on his darting and on his way up to his perch. Thankfully, he was fairly high up, but it still caught him off guard when he heard a girl hiss softly some weird words. His neck bent upside down in his odd way he could where his skull touched his spine spotting the girl at the base of the rock before twisting around to face her properly. She was pretty far down there, the jump was more than what most kids their ages could make. Her words reminded him of that other boy who threatened him now. Once she was done speaking and shrieking with laughter Niyol couldn’t help but cock his eyebrow and give a look of complete puzzlement. ”You… what now? You sound like you’re crazy. Though you got me there, I am trespassing, but I just wanted to explore, ya know?” He said his voice pretty even though he gave a few nervous chuckles.
Seriously though, he wondered what type of weird girl she was. Who said things like that anyway? Other than crazy people that was. Perhaps she was being like Bro Ophi was and just playing around and acting like she was a bad guy. He couldn’t tell, one thing was for sure though she wasn’t like his sisters back home.
She continued to look up at him though, her eyes set on him looking him over as she moved about on the ground finally clicking her jaws as she called up to him. ”Ah… umm no. That doesn’t sound fun at all. Why would I do that? And why would you want to do that?” Seriously though she was crazy, and while Niyol might not have been the brightest between the two brothers, he wasn’t devoid of all common sense at least especially when it was screeching at cackling at him on the ground below talking nonsense.
