Went out today! Boat ran like a champ until I tried to slow down! Couldn’t go to idle! Had to turn off the engine to stop! Got it into neutral and restarted the engine! Started cycling up and down! Warning horn came on and went into protective mode (shut down)! Started it again and the engine surged and idled until it went into protective mode! Checked all my connections! No apparent fault! Thought I was gonna have to use my trolling motor to make the ramp (13 miles). Made sure the throttle was seated and restarted! No issues! Any ideas? Replies:
