She didn't understand what was happening. How long was Myrria under the water? Lucia swore she heard the water splash and that had to be when she fell in but something just didn't feel right about the whole thing. Was she pushed? Lucia couldn't think of an instance where Myrria would throw herself into the water. Who would do that? Not the strong courageous sister that she knew! But Myrria's actions as she reached her in the water didn't make sense to her at all. It seemed like Myrria was actually trying to get AWAY from her, her legs flailing as Lucia got closer as if to put distance between them. Her brows furrowed at the sight but she kept on going, determined to get her sister's head above the water. Lucia could just make out Myrria's jaws opening as she reached for her, inhaling water and her own eyes widened in shock and fear. No! She knew it was never a good thing to inhale water.

As Myrria's gaze found her through the water, Lucia was sure she would recognize her and start helping her but instead it seemed like she was seeing some other emotion in her sister's eyes. Surely Myrria didn't fear her! Shaken by the look, she continued to reach for Myrria, wanting more than anything to see her breathing in fresh air again instead of water. But right as her mouth closed around Myrria's scruff, she saw Myrria close her eyes and open her mouth, pulling in more water. Lucia's eyes widened more and she growled in frustration and helplessness through her sister's fur as she started to drag her to the shore. Tears stung her eyes as she pulled Myrria's head out of the water and released her scruff, unsure of what else she could do to save her. She was on the verge of panic, resorting to yelling at Myrria that she couldn't be dead.

As if on cue, Myrria started hacking and coughing, water spitting out of her throat and Lucia let out a big sob she'd been holding in, racing to throw her head into Myrria's neck. "Myrria, You're alive!" She backed up only to let Myrria get her feet under her, but she could tell that her sister was weak. She figured it was just shock from almost drowning, watching Myrria's legs shake and her head wobble uncertainly. Her ears flicked back and forth, unsure of this development but anything had to be better than death, right? And then Myrria spoke her name and Lucia all but squeaked in excitement, nodding her head as she took a hopeful step toward her. "Yes, Myrria, it's me, Lucia!" She wanted to rush to her sister, to hug her and tell her how much she'd missed her, but she could tell it was hard for Myrria to stand right now and she didn't want to hurt her or make her fall down so she shifted her weight, holding herself back. Her eyes soaked in Myrria's figure though, as if trying to memorize every part of her. Her gaze softened as she thought about her sister's weak state though. Maybe there was something she should be doing? "Do you need anything, Myrria? Food? Sleep?"
