Momma was the best when it came to herbs and healing, Emer knew this. She had watched her mother since she was born, and had grown to acknowledge that her mother knew what she was doing. There were things that Emer had no idea how to pronounce, yet, her momma knew exactly what they were, and where they grew, and what they did. Emer didn't see the need for it, but to each their own, right?

Escaping while Bran walked with momma was easy, he asked questions, merely to keep the death silence from creeping in. Emer didn't think he was interested in healing, but then again, she hadn't really asked him either. Bounding away, it was such a thrill. And that, was a little pathetic, that she found escaping a thrill. Silly little girl, don't you know how big and bad the world out there is?

Laying on her back in the long grasses, the grin on her face was maniacal, so excited to be out of the pack land. She moved her head often, obscuring the sounds that were approaching her. Only when he stood over her and spoke, did she realize what was going on. She jerked her head upright with a squeak like yelp slipping from her lips. She stared wide-eyed at the grey and red boy before her. She rolled onto her tummy, sitting upright, shaking her small frame before looking at him again.

"Hi! It's so pretty here. I got so bored sitting at home with mom looking at herbs. Its not fun, and I don't wanna stay home all the time." She pouted, looking back in the direction of Spirane, shaking her head.
