Your post brings to mind a young recruit at the Para Depot Aldershot where I spent the last few months of my service. He was one of those chaps who was totally uncoordinated when it came to drill and marching. He was what was known in my day day as a ' tock tick ' ...right arm right leg together. I spent ages with him on a one to one basis trying to get him to ' March ' correctly. My biggest problem with him was that...low and behold he was IRISH...in more ways than one! Ha Ha. We got there eventually but I will never forget him...nice lad but Jesus! To add insult to injury he was a ginger!!
