Numbers systems must be very powerful. Posted on March 15, 2019 at 05:19:53 PM by Craig G

With the Fair Play system of post assignments, when you see a record for a player or team, if you make the assumption that they had a fairly equal number of posts, then the record implies a "most consistent with" point-winning percentage. So with a simple chart you can convert any G:WPS record into a probable point %.
What's the point?
Well, any player or team that is below about 45% should have very poor chances from the worst posts. That means that if you played tri's keyed with 5, 6, or 7 with those kinds of teams or players, it is not too tough to prove that you would do far worse than the takeout, and lose around 50%.
So for a number system, or due number system, to be oblivious to that circumstance - which occurs all the time - and still come out on top is a really great achievement.
Because you are prevailing despite carrying a group of losing bets that are apparent to anyone.
