Ruieze Fields

Open fields and soft grass...
Ruieze stretches far in the midlands of Moladion, laced with streams that feed into Diveen and out of Asteraia at times. The fields are vast, filled with wildflowers and tall, soft grass; trees are sparse, as are rocks, but one can find small shrubs to hide amongst, and the grass itself. To the south of the fields, a Ruieze River widens, and the ground becomes sandy. There is a small, grassy island that can be reached from the banks, with water-birds often congregating on the island rather than the riverbanks.

Adults were so easy! Inari knew he just couldn't resist her puppy eyes as she begged for food. A name was given and was instantly forgotten. The only thing that mattered was he was willing to hunt for her. A smile as sweet as honey spread across her face as she wagged her tail. But, the wag slowly stopped as he asked about her parents. Where were they? Probably sleeping in a den somewhere in Diveen, however, what she said was: "I don't know. We became separated a few days ago and I haven't been able to find them." She put a little tremble to her lips as she pretended to hold back tears.

Inari prided herself in her ability to lie. It was fun to weave a tale of false tragedies and pretend heroism. More often than not, it got her into a whole mess of trouble with the wolves that knew her. However, on rare occasions such as this, it would lead to interesting adventures and, of course, a free meal. "You haven't seen two wolves around here, have you? My father's name is Himal, he's a battle scarred warrior from a pack far away from here. My mother's name is Cerena. She was the princess of the pack before she was forced to leave with my father. We're on the run from some bad wolves when we came to this land."

Her voice shook with fear and her tail slowly slide under her belly as her eyes grew wide. To lie, one must not only use words, but actions as well. How would anyone believe her if she didn't put everything into the lie? Inside her mind, she laughed at the game, but on the outside she looked every part like a lost child. The only detail she could not hide was the trace of Diveen still clinging to her fur.
