There was a lot of information that Sans had secretly acquired in the short time he'd been alive. He'd watched wolves spar and practiced their techniques in solitude. He's learned how to move silently through the trees, hugging the trembling shadows they cast. He'd even learned how to hunt, though he loathed how long it took to wear the pray down.
Most of the time he just gave up and waited for someone else to give him food. However, he knew next to nothing about frogs. They jumped all over, made annoying sounds at night, and ate the vilest things. That was about all he knew of the creatures. So when he heard the girl mention they shouldn't chase frogs, he took her word for it and stored the knowledge away for future use.
"Hmm… your mom is a healer so I'm going to take her word on this and say we should probably steer clear of frogs" For a moment, he was at a loss. This child had become his responsibly when he decided to follow. He couldn't just leave her. Yawning, Sans looked around at the riverside, trying to come up with something to keep this cub entertained until her mother realized she was missing. "What sort of games do kids play these days?" He spoke like he wasn't only a few years older than the girl. It was something his siblings found rather frustrating.
