Jeff. I have the full details of Lincoln A73-11 that crashed at Amberley in 19/ 48 killing all on board including my brother a W AG Who was coming home for discharge after service in New Guinea/ Soloms area. Crashed at17.50. hours Thursday for discharge 0800 hrs Friday Bodies not identified by crash and fire.... Years later I travelled in a LIncoln Tvl Ohea Green island over the Gulf on to Darwin...I was having a nice !nap!between the main spars. when a very nice crew member opened fire with the nid upper turrent Guns, Noise of machine guns shells etc etc a startling awaking!!! Any how if you like some stories of Mick ( my brother) service. let me know. Replies:
