Enocra Woodland

Pine, spruce and firs alike...
Dense coniferous forests cover the woodlands, with clearings, paths and the occasional wildberry shrub throughout. Pine, spruce and fir make up much of the forest in the east, with the forest becoming swampier in the west towards Mecor Valley. In the west, cypress trees dominate, with fallen trees creating bridges across and throughout the stillwaters.

" I'LL TELL YOU WHAT IT'S LIKE TO BURN
Her eyes are immediately drawn to the macabre smear of red across most of his perfectly blanched coat. As he turns toward her it sweeps down from left and right toward his well muscled chest, bringing her eyes down to appreciate the intricacies of his power before trailing their way back up to a rather stern, yet handsome face. My… isn’t he a catch? It seems that she has unknowingly beguiled another into her trap; her otherworldly beauty sucking him in like a black hole, no doubt.

His voice resounds in the typical deep note of a male, but she finds it oddly entrancing after all these years. One would think, with her history, that the mere sight or sound of another masculine figure would send her into a horror-stricken frenzy from the memories. But that was not the case. She had slayed those demons long ago - all except one - and locked away the mental remnants of that time as best she could. It wasn’t foolproof, occasionally a sliver of one of the memories would slip through the barrier and wreak havoc on her mind, but for the most part she had is handled.

Even still, she finds that his choice of words is even more intriguing than the reason why his voice is so pleasing to her. ”Oh? And now what do you plan to do about it?” she offers a light tease with absolutely no intention of following through, but he doesn’t have to know that. Her icy blues take a moment to rove over his figure again as the last of the sun’s light fades into the horizon, ushering them into a realm of pure darkness. The moon itself won’t even show its face to them.

His boldness comes about as he takes a few steps closer to her. Is he entertaining the idea of adding a few scars to his face? She lingers on the thought as she eyes him, her posture remaining the same but her tail now rigid at her haunches, her hackles slowly inching up in the slightest. He didn’t approach in a way that was overtly dominant or threatening and yet her gut told her not to take the motion lightly. She didn’t make it this far in life by attempting to see the best in others.

She makes a move, side-stepping from his close quarters and walking around him slowly. ”Only strangers who think they need to stalk me,” she replies with a stinging tone to her voice as she comes around to stand diagonally at his right side. Her eyes fall on the distinct features of his face as she waits in silence, feeling him out. He is a peculiar one and unlike most that she found of his type; the powerful, dominant, macho ones. Those that feel it necessary to display their strength and brash mentality on everyone who happens to walk in their path.

Not this one, though. He is different for some reason.

”Who are you?” she asks, nearly demands, of him as she continues to watch him through the shadows.
