Ruieze Fields

Open fields and soft grass...
Ruieze stretches far in the midlands of Moladion, laced with streams that feed into Diveen and out of Asteraia at times. The fields are vast, filled with wildflowers and tall, soft grass; trees are sparse, as are rocks, but one can find small shrubs to hide amongst, and the grass itself. To the south of the fields, a Ruieze River widens, and the ground becomes sandy. There is a small, grassy island that can be reached from the banks, with water-birds often congregating on the island rather than the riverbanks.

" I'LL TELL YOU WHAT IT'S LIKE TO BURN
The deep blue twilight slowly shifted through time as the fiery fingers of the sun reached for the earth once again. The colors of night mingled with the growing hues of day, starting out with a band of orange that glowed faintly on the horizon. The intensity of the light grew ever more as the hellfire termagant made her way through the thicket between Glorall and the grotto. It was too late for her to return to the shady confines of the forest to the north and so she continued to meander toward the distance expanse of tall grasses and blooming flowers across the river.

She waded through the cool shallows of the river as the summer heat wrapped around her. It felt nice to have the slow-moving water lap at her legs and ease the ache of her pads after a night of mysterious escapades. Her path takes her along the riverside that skirts Diveen’s border and soon toward the wall of reeds and grasses that mark the realm of the plains.

The flame-coated valkyrie was content in making her travels alone, but the outcropping of some reeds and the upwind draft impeded her ability to detect that a stranger was just around the corner. She found out soon enough when her icy blue eyes fell on his reclined self, dangling his paws into the current. She was taken aback for a moment, her movements paused abruptly as she eyed him, but was the first to speak in any case.

”Enjoying the weather?” her dark, feminine voice calls to him as she hazards a step or two closer. She couldn’t say that she does the same; summer was a waste of time in her mind. Too hot and muggy to do anything, unless you wanted to live a lonely life in the tundra. She maintains a comfortable distance from the male and it’s clear as the breeze shifts that he is from the pack just across the river. He reeks strongly of its borders. Perhaps he patrols for dear alpha or better yet, holds a rank that most of which only dream of obtaining.
