A flooded field beside Uithoff Line just south of Foxmead Road had a good assortment of ducks this afternoon: I counted 57 (!) Wood Ducks, mostly males, and besides the many Mallards, there were lesser numbers of Pintails, Wigeon, Black Ducks, at least one male Blue-Winged Teal, as well as a few diving ducks: Ring-necks, Buffleheads, Hooded Mergansers. (No swans, nor geese other than Canadas.)
