4/11(E) G10--FLORIDA SINGLES CHAMPIONSHIP--MAP, STATS, AND ANALYSIS

This was an easy game to do. No playoffs. Everything went well except for buffering, which wiped out judgment on 1 point.

4(1) - 5(0) 5 Erik + chic-chac

Summary: BARRANDIKA won this game for the second performance in a row, but in a very different way from last night. Last night he was overpowering, tonight he was opportunistic. Leke actually played the best Jai Alai until his last shot, an over serve. It was a cruel fate because, after getting HIS chance due to the only other error in the game by Erik, who dropped a fairly tough catch near the left wall (but one I think should have been made) looked for sure like he was going to run out the game after two overhead passes and a left wall shot. But what would have been a simple "pasa" in a partido, a blip that wouldn't have even been noticed, cost him the game. Ithurria profited from the mistake, but didn't last long as BARRANDIKA put him away with a 2 wall, then disposed of Zulaika with a dejada, and then put the game to bed with a left pass against Erik. The last two of these points were three ball points, the minimum that can be won by the server (except for aces). So again, a type of domination, not of the whole lineup, but in the clutch, and with the minimum of effort. He has, to me, looked spectacular the last two nights. As usual, a clean, well played game. But again, the harshness of an error in Quiniela demonstrated.
