Re(2): Up on the soapbox, sorry

You make a great point, and yes its true Bolivar & Felix had great success in the NAJF, as they never not won it, but the finals in those NAJF's Partidos, just to me were not marquee Partidos.

In 1984, it was on, however Joey scratched with a back injury and Bolivar won easily against Echeva and Mendi, the next year, Bolivar and Felix beat Arra & Zarria Arra really struggled)and then the following year Michelena and Zarria fell, Zarria had a really tough tournaments, So as great Felix was, and he was, I saw Boliver and Gorrona win the T of C against Alberdi - Javier of Miami, When Bolivar teamed with Gorrono it was the only time he beat Bolivar in Doubles Partido and it was played in Ocala, with Joey beating Bolivar 7 out of 10 times in Doubles Partidos overall in the US. Hey, just my opinion, that Jai-Alai history will remember Gorrono as a stronger player than Felix, its just an opinion. And its not their fault the NAJF did not have tougher teams. Just seemed to me that the frontons never sent their best because of qualifying or player Manager opinion. There was always 1-3 good teams and you could really just elimante the other 3. The best NAJF to me would have been below, just a wish....

Miami - Joey -Soroa
Tampa - Echeva Gorrono
Dania - Juaristi - Elorza
Milford Zulaica Boniquen
Orlando Eduardo Mendi II
Palm Beach-Bolivar - Felix
Bridgeport Inclan- Badiola
Hartford -Remen- Urquiaga
