Liland was sure the land would be his and so he would try to get this mare to join him there. Perhaps even be his queen. But only time would tell if either would happen. So his thoughts were correct and she was alone. Which meant there was a greater chance she would join him at his new home. One ear is on her while the other listens to their surroundings.
