Bar, I certainly agree that this young talent has a bright future and that he always gives
an all out effort.
Here would be some of my more specific observations about his game:
He catches great on both sides especially the forehand when under pressure from a tough throw from an opponent.
His backhand throw is powerful but he often throws it too low and gives easy rebotes to his frontcourt
opponent.I would like to see him take a little off, throw it higher into the corner similar to Ladutxe.
His forehand is also very powerful but he does not "cross the wall" enough and does not "split"
his opponents often enough by throwing it in between them.He often gives the frontcourt opponent
an easy opportunity to catch it on the fly and put his team on the defense.I love the forehand
when he goes over the top and throws a carom but he needs to do it more often.
His rebotes are average at best and need a lot of work but I think he is gradually improving
by playing more singles.
He plays with passion and I love his competitive spirit.I like Leke a lot and I think he is on his way
to becoming a great backcourter.I hope he doesn't burn himself out too early by playing too many
partidos in Europe and a full season at Dania.I want him to stay around for a long time!! Replies:
