PRIME MINISTER'S DECREE

"None." - Leader

The Offspring

Diccon (Cicada x Khar'pern)

Rules

• The Vulcan Peak is where homeless mares come to live as a sisterhood. Stallions may not live here except as captives or companions for the Leaders.

• Warriors keep mainly to fighting, Thinkers keep mainly to raiding, and Politicians may do both, neither, or act as diplomats. Members may issue their own battles and raids, but should generally consult the General, Codebreaker or Prime Minister for permission.

• All major decisions are determined by vote, but the Prime Minister maintains order within the Peak and has the final say.

• Elections for leadership positions will be held every TLI summer, provided the qualifying criteria are met.

• You can find detailed information about how the Peak works on the Rules page.

I am the nightmare that became reality

Ruger

stallion | 15.3hh | EE aa TT | son of the wolf

(Wasp only)

Despite Wasp’s words echoing in his head that they should hurry, the painted man did not. Rational thinking of a mature stallion had kicked him, his protective instincts keeping them along the edge of the tree line between the meadow and the falls as the sun began to sink below the horizon. They did not need to be out in the open, but they did not need to be traveling in such a way that was the Peak in the dark. Even if Wasp had been born there, he had not, and any misstep could lead to an untimely death for either of them.

When the sun had risen, its soft warm glow turning the inky sky soft shades of pastel, Ruger had stirred the younger horse before setting a pace for their travels. It was odd not walking alone, to hear the soft sounds of her hooves behind him. At first he wasn’t sure if he liked it or not, it disturbed his way of hearing the world around him and knowing if a predator lurked nearby. The feeling left him the longer they walked though, and by time they reached the base of the Peak he was fully used to the sounds she made.

Stopping, Ruger lifted his lupine gaze to look up the mountain side. It was much steeper than he was used to traveling but he was not afraid of a challenge. “Ladies first.” He said, glancing to Wasp to take the lead. Pride would have demanded him to continue leading, but Ruger was not just testosterone. He knew she would see the easier route, used to climbing the mountains, enough that he nearly teased her about being a goat. But the stallion was happy that he did not waste his breath. He would need every one he could get by time they reached the top.
