Sekhmet had caught the glance of her daughter's search of approval before continuing after not receiving verbal reassurance. The woman knew her child must learn to make a decision of her own accord and this would be the first step towards that independence.
As brief as the pause was her daughter continued; "I think we could play. What games did you have in mind? Did you want to play here or explore the beaches?" Sekhmet could tell her daughter quelled most excitement for trivial things in her presence, however, behind the more stoic face the woman noticed the girls tail waging and was unable to expect that her daughter would ever be for the harsher side of life. Sekhmet could give her nothing but would teach her to be strong someday though, for now, the woman shifted to stand. Shaking her fur Sekhmet looked at the too girls firmly, "Mind Strangers. Don't go too far." Turning to look in her daughter's eyes she spoke once more; "We will teach you." Despite all of Sekhmet's reservations, this statement was to be a comforting statement more spoken towards bravery.
Looking over the pair once more Sekhmet turned to leave but not before Bastet's call of Mother, which had stilled her steps. The smaller girl moved swiftly and brushed against her side causing Sekhmet to stiffen for a moment before issuing a low growl before pressing her muzzle to her head. While it may seem a harsher interaction to others this was truly a moment where Sekhmet showed great restraint and even a sense of affection. Her gaze fell to her adviser's daughter before giving Nissa a nod and turned to walk away leaving her joyful daughter behind.Speaking Coptic.
