The forest stands tall and lush here; ancient trees reach weather-twisted arms to the sky, fighting monster-like storm clouds back with their interlacing fingers. Shadow seems to lurk everywhere you look, but it spills calmly, coolly, inspiring a sense of stealthy calm or protection rather than unease. That is, if you've forgotten what kind of creature might be stalking just out of sight...Abendrot is a land cradled by the dark woods on all sides; in the center, some of the larger trees stay behind to reveal a small plateau - a citadel where this pack can gather and defend itself from invaders. There are, of course, softer sides to the land. Clearings here and there allow the sun to throw down its rays in incongruously resplendent gold showers. Ignore the lingering scents of blood spattered here and there along the borders: those do not concern you. The river on one edge of the territory is playful enough when it hasn't been gorged by violent rain. You can choose to note the ragged claw marks raked down tree trunks and the forest floor as friendly "Home Sweet Home" signs, if you wish.

All who treasure loyalty, order, victory, and the occasional indulgence of raw visceral pleasure are welcome, once they've been approved by the ever-watchful eyes of Abendrot's Alpha. But keep one thing in mind: no matter what your motive, this is not a fool's Paradise. This is the land of soldiers, assassins, and spies. This is ABENDROT.

Make up your mind quickly and prepare to prove your worth. You wouldn't want to add to those blood spatters, would you...?

Siku

In Restless dreams I walk alone, narrow streets of cobblestone, neath the halo of a street lamp, I turned my collar to the cold and damp.

Siku growled at his girls when finally he noticed something was really wrong with his daughters. He wanted to go over to them, but at the same time he wasn’t going to leave Olya defenceless in case something else decided it wanted to come after her. He sighed softly before turning to Olya and pressing his nose to her stomach and then gently nudged the two pups that had made it. ”I’m sorry Olya, you know I won’t let anything happen to you, as the twins grew older, it seems the mental health issues that Nukilik has have gotten worse….” He sighed and gently licked Olya’s feathers, hoping she wouldn’t be to scared.

The girls had told him for months how they missed her being around, for some reason Nuk couldn’t handle new changes and she also heard voices in her mind that told her to do bad things. He felt bad for his daughters, but this wasn’t something he could fix for her. ”She doesn’t hate you Olya, her mind just hates her. She missed you while we were gone, both of them did. Don’t let her mind harming her make you think she hates you… Please..” His voice came out softly and his mind could almost imagine what she was thinking, that she wouldn’t be safe here.

Siku knew her pretty well, he knew that this little Fae would believe she’s endanger, but that would never be the case as long as she was in his pack and on his land. Just as he was about to say something he smelled Inkeri, his head turning to watch her stumbling in, almost like she was under some drugs. He blinked a few times before sniffing the air to see if he could smell what she had taken, but the only thing he could smell was a faint scent of magic, like what he smelled when he got his antler. ”Papa, I… I feel so tired.” She whimpered out to him before collasping on the ground.

Siku’s mind went into panic watching his daughter fall and for the first time since he jumped down from that rock he left Olya’s side to race to his eldest daughters. He sniffed all over her and then tried to shake her awake, when he noticed that she wasn’t going to wake up, his eyes scanned the surrounding area to see if something else was going to happen.

Then the sweet scent of magic smacked against his nostrils and his entire body moved to look at Nukilik, her body swaying and before falling down, her body just thudding to the ground. ”Kally, um Kab? Move away from her now!” He commanded them and watched his daughter jump away from her sister, her eyes swelling with tears. He looked over to Olya and she was far enough away from the two sleeping girls that he didn’t think she was endanger. His eyes turned to Kab. ”I will be right back watch my daughter and my… female friend, do not let something happen to them while I move my girls to a den.”

The brute moved quickly while he lifted Inkeri and waltzed through the grass and rocks to lay her in a den, then he back tracked and did the same with Nukilik. His eyes lingered over the two while he made his way back to the small group and looked around. ”Does anyone else feel tired?”
