Nissa's head turned as she heard someone else approaching. At first, she was disappointed that she couldn't speak to the male alone, but when she saw the giant female and smelled her familiar perfume, her tail started wagging and her eyes lit up. This was the alpha! Nissa had yet to meet her but her father spoke highly of the female alpha. Nissa had been disappointed to have never seen her before but now she was getting that pleasure. At first, Nissa thought she was in trouble when she saw the snarling look on the alpha's face. Was she not supposed to approach strangers? Her father would probably disapprove as well, but Nissa hadn't felt she was doing anything wrong. This was her home, right? Why couldn't she say hi to strangers? Her ears folded back in submission and she ducked her head, but when she glanced up at the female in curiosity, she saw that the alpha's glare was focused on the male as she asked what he was doing here. Instantly, Nissa's ears pricked and she lifted her head again. Oh, so she was being protective over her! Nissa felt important all of a sudden, her paws getting a bit of a bounce to them as she turned back on the male, curious of his answer. At first he'd seemed almost reluctant at her approach but when she spoke to him, he seemed to change his attitude, getting a big grin on his face that made him appear all the more handsome to her. She batted her lashes at him, that is, until he spoke back to her, telling her if he was a big boy then she was a little girl. She scowled for a moment before shaking her head with a snarky giggle. "You mean GROWING girl. You see, you will probably get no bigger than you are now, but I will be growing for years to come. You should come see me, then." The hints were obvious for all to hear as she once more batted her lashes up at him and even gave him a teasing wink. No, her parents had not taught her this behavior but she was sure she'd seen it somewhere and it was actually kind of fun to throw others for a loop. When he saw the alpha over her shoulder though, she instantly saw the change in him. Where she'd submitted to her alpha and shown submission, he relaxed all his muscles and seemed just...contrite. Like he wanted the alpha know that he meant no harm. She tilted her head, studying him. He spoke to the alpha then, telling her that he'd come to talk about the future. Her ears strained toward him then, her eyes widening. He looked at the alpha but even she could see he wasn't looking directly at her, probably not wanting to seem like he was challenging her. He was showing respect while still keeping his own dignity. Nissa liked it. She thumped her tail on the ground and looked at her alpha, curious of her answer. Would she indulge the male? He even announced that they could speak of other things if she didn't want to discuss the future. Nissa almost hoped that she would be okay to talk about it, if only cause Nissa wanted to listen. Surely, they wouldn't send her away so they could speak about grown up things, right?
