The barge is normally in use throughout the day tied up to the pilings beneath the highrise bridge. They have been working on repairing extensive damage done to the bridge by a string of barges earlier this year. Note: You can launch at Munden Park free (effective April 1, 2019). I have been using the Pungo Ferry Landing Park ramp all this year. Most of the time you'll find the barge moored to the shore where all the timbers and pilings are stacked. You shouldn't have any trouble launching from either facility. Replies:
