The Close Encounter

With all the back and forth associated with the close encounter of the U.S. and the Russian ships,
I wish they had showed a complete video of the situation as it unfolded.
Instead, they show a video of the two ships site by side in close proximity .
The closest I've seen to a picture showing the the developing situation is the below-linked still picture.
In this picture, it looks like it might have been a crossing situation in which the Russians had the right of way.
But who knows?
