The thing about bachelors, and being in a bachelor herd, was most of the stallions acted like brothers. There was moments they fought, maybe even hated each other, but the botherhood was strong and they still stuck together. It was a good place for young stallions to find themselves and learn how a stallion should act. The bachelors taught you how to be tough and how to get mares if that was your desire. Cullen never desired a mare like the others which is why he has fathered no foals. He had only recently begun thinking about fathering an heir to carry his name in the Lagoon, but the right mare hasn't been found.
Most stallions, especially young ones, were more focused on the female gender. Cullen didn't mind helping them in their search for woman as long as they stayed loyal and helped grow the Lagoon in return. The blue stallion spoke and introduced himself as Raider of nowhere. He smirks at his perfect answer. Cullen was about to speak, but he noticed Raider distracted. Blue eyes followed the stallion's gaze to a rabbit and his eyes rolled. Typical of a young stallion to get distracted by nature.
He grunts to snap the young male out of it before speaking.
"I am on a hunt for new members. The population on these islands took a big hit a few years ago so I am attempting to up my numbers." A young stallion like this was the perfect candidate for the bachelor herd so he had high hopes in the stallion joining.
"The Lagoon is a great place for someone of your age to learn a plethora of things. My men could teach you how to fight and how to get mares." The higher he could get their numbers the more fun they could have.
"I have many open positions right now including fighting battles and conducting raids to steal mares. Plus I need a member or two interested in recruiting new members like I am doing now." He wondered what kind of colt this was. Would the fighting perk his interest or the mares? Cullen watched the him closely with eyes that never faltered to that rabbit nearby.
