She was so BORED. Would there ever be more pups around her own age for her to play with? She had run into the alpha's daughter but they were older. Still okay to play with but not so easy to trick. She wanted someone she didn't have to run after to keep up with when they walked. Why wouldn't her dang legs just GROW? It was so exhausting! She felt like she had to run everywhere. Of course, her father assured her that she glided everywhere she went. She took his compliments with a grain of salt here lately but that didn't mean she didn't still like to hear it. She knew she had him wrapped around her littlest toe. It pleased her to know she'd alwasy have her parents to turn to if she needed them. But she was working on not needing them so much. Sure, they still had to bring her food at this time but she always had that in abundance thanks to her mother and father. She wished sometimes that they would get along better but as the seasons went by and that part didn't change, she stopped noticing their glares and bickering so much. She found that she didn't care so much that they got along, as long as they still paid attention to her. That was the important thing, after all. The heat of the summer was finally wearing off but she didn't know what to make of this cold weather. Her coat was getting thicker to keep up with it and the breezes were harsh in the wide open fields of the pack lands. She grinned as she leaned into it, daring it to lift her up and take her away somewhere. When she turned her head, she saw the black wolf holding something in its mouth and her eyes widened. Someone new! She immediately pounced after them, determined to meet as many wolves around here as she could. As she got closer, she could smell the blood from the dead bird in her mouth and her own mouth started watering in response. It wouldn't be easy to steal a kill from a bigger, older wolf though. Not that she couldn't still try, though. She slowed down as she got closer, painting a big smile on her face. "Hi! Who are you? You have stars in your coat. How do I get stars?" She'd start with the innocent stuff first. She was mesmerized by the wolf's coat, after all.
