Aplos Riverside

Moladion’s powerful, winding river...
Aplos River is a broad, slow-moving river originating from somewhere beneath the mountains of Spirane and feeding Iromar’s moors in the south. The northern parts of the river are known for their strong currents, with the water becoming slow moving in the south. The riverbanks vary along its course, ranging from soft hummock grasses to small groups of pine, and sometimes nothing but pebbles and sand. Crossing can be difficult at times, but it can be swam or bridged by fallen trees or boulders alike.

Sinon
That We Must Protect It, No Matter What
Sea Angel - No Love - No Soul - Daughter of Sinclair & Cersei

While her sister was the social butterfly, Sinon was at home a lot more with her father. He taught her things, like his family’s history, latin, Moladion’s history and other facts and things of the world. What was more the battered old angel warrior was very doting to all of his girls, Sinon was growing up in Diveen with all the love and support of her immediate family. However, after learning so much in the course of her first year, Sinon now wanted to taste it and experience the world for herself! Winter may not have been the best of time to do this, but the light silver, white and crimson marked girl made do anyway. Her silvery form flitted through the snows closest to the banks of Ruieze and she followed all the terrain that was described to her by her father. Part of her wanted to explore Glorall, the land that her Grandfather Tesseract once owned, that her mother was a Princess of! That was a lifetime ago though, her father had reminded her, telling her to stay away for the time being until he felt out how the pack was now. Sinon though, surely the couldn’t hold something her grandfather did against her, but an obedient child steered clear and simply walked the river and crags, sniffing the edges of the pack borders longingly before carrying on to where the longest river, Aplos River, winded its way around Spirane, the tallest Mountains in Moladion.

The day was long for the girl, but she pressed on, confident that with her pelt and wits she could hide or outsmart anyone that would maybe do her harm. She was bold, perhaps too bold, to assume that even though times were peaceful that there was little to no danger out there. Had Faye ever wandered so far? She thought, sniffing around the banks and letting her bright blue and red rimmed eyes soak in all the unfamiliar sights of the world. That was when those same eyes spotted the trail of someone larger, older and with a scent of pines and forest on their pelt. She didn’t know Taviora’s pack scent, but the smell of pine and thick scent of multiple wolves told her it was probably a pack wolf! Taviora was one of the oldest allies of Diveen her father had said, it would be fun to finally meet up with someone from some place new!

Soon she found the source of the scent and prints in the snow, a boy of black and gold, akin in a way to a lot of her extended family, but not at the same time. Thicker built and strong, her tail waved lightly eyes bright with curiosity wondering what he was doing as he swiped what she thought was a rather bear like sized paw through the water at little flitting bits of silver. Oh! He was fishing! How interesting, did most forest wolves fish like bears? She wondered.

”I am thinking you need to be in a better spot!” She called cheerfully to him, he was still a pup, maybe he was learning to perfect this trade? ”Or I am thinking wrong? You are trying to catch fish, yes?” She asked lightly from the shores, not tall enough to feel brave to get down in the water as the older boy was, but content to watch in pure intrigue all the while.
