The older female didn't give a name for either her or her daughter but she did confirm that she was an alpha, or Pharoah, as she tilted herself. Avery tilted her head a little. They smelled of the fields so she could only assume she was the alpha there. She nodded in acknowledgement, giving the younger female a friendly smile as she wagged her tail. So, a mother and daughter pair. The Pharoah then asked about her envoy. Avery only remembered her name, Jinx. She shook her head. "I'm not sure what happened. We were speaking then she said she had to be somewhere and left. I was very interested to answer any questions she or you might have, though." She wanted the female to know that she was open to discussions about their packs' relations.

The Pharoah's next question threw her off for a moment. Her ears flicked back and her brow rose in question for a moment before she scowled thoughtfully. "Do you mean Blackthorne? The former alpha here? No, I didn't kill him. He wasn't here when I came and the female he left in charge put up no fight when I stepped up to take the throne. It was disappointing, really." She said honestly, her ears flicking back forward to gauge the female's reaction. She didn't know what kind of relationship the female had with Blackthorne when he was here so she'd try to remain neutral. It didn't seem to hurt her relations with Eden and Glorall any even though Blackthorne came from Glorall and they were allies so it wasn't all a bust just because she took over from him.

The Pharoah was straight forward in her next question, asking what Avery wanted. She took a moment to think before answering. "I would like to build an alliance based on trust and respect between the packs. I know that doesn't happen overnight so I'm open to any activities that could start the wheel turning. It seems we both have children so play dates could be arranged or we could do something else. A hunt?" She was watching the female carefully, gauging her reactions to the suggestions to try to find one that caught her interest. Her gaze followed the Pharoah's for a moment, seeing the younger female looking around innocently enough but something told Avery she was about as innocent as Apollyon. When the Pharoah raised a lip in warning to her daughter, Avery flicked an ear toward her voice. She smiled and nodded. "Yes, unfortunately snakes seem to find Iromar a fitting place to breed and populate. Our borders are open as long as your mother approves." Her gaze swept back to the Pharoah.

The last thing she wanted to do was step on any toes and this was the female's daughter so it was ultimately her say-so. Of course, at that point, Apollyon felt the need to step closer, watching the younger female with curiosity before he snarled and lunged at the snake. Grasping it in his mouth by the tail, he picked it up and slung it before it could strike, watching with a grin as it landed in the swamp. "Haha, take that, serpent." Only then, did he turn his attention back to the girl. "Do you enjoy teasing things that can harm you?" He tilted his head, studying her as he waited for a response. Avery watched the exchange and sighed, shaking her head before turning back to the Pharoah. Her tired expression seemed to say "kids... am I right?"
