Susil Crags

Disaster has struck!
The Crags are a series of rocky formations with small caves and crevices throughout. Many of the lower-lying areas of the Crags have been flooded, however, with water pouring in from the Northern stretches of Moladion. Some paths have been completely submerged, and some are nothing more than a few rocky peaks sticking out of the water. The water is fairly slow moving but begins to pick speed up towards the Grotto, becoming a series of intense rapids and waterfalls as it nears the Grotto's entrance.

The area itself is still traversible. However, it can be risky. Large amounts of debris can enter the waterway, creating bridges at times but also creating dams that break and cause ocassional flash-flooding. Be careful, travelers! One wrong step and you could end up finding out where the water goes.

Note: Susil Crags will return to normal once 25 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes.

to stand outside your virtue

Although the scent had been initially lost to her senses, the stranger presented himself well enough so that her exotic angel eyes could immediately take him in. The stark contrast of the dark crimson red that painted him could be tell tale signs of shared blood between them, however it didn't take her long in her observations to come to the conclusion that such was not the case. As she watched him, the red that could have been his own angel mark washed away and the silence shattered between them as he questioned her.

Perhaps he was a wolf who was particular about those he chose to find himself around, or perhaps he didn't care at all. Either way, she was silently grateful, for the simple fact of his approach. Even though she had taken a stand to better look upon him, he had continued onward to wade within the cool relief of the water. She was close enough, for when she stood her large white toes had remained at the waters edge though beneath her full weight she found the delicious cool water kissing her fur in contact. While the sensation was quite pleasant, the stranger had indeed asked her a question and though she found it to be otherworldly, she had been a wolf to accept and cherish a variety of different souls over the years. There had never been a moment of doubt in herself or her own intentions.

Pious could be a word used to describe her, if the wolves that called themselves angels were anything similar to their namesake. As much as Heyel had imagined the grandeur of his legacy, it seemed Fate had other plans to lead each of their souls in a direction it so pleased. Ambrosia herself was no different, for here she was at this current place in this current time, accompanied by a wolf she had never met. The natural eagerness did not match her age, but outward judgments had never been a particular concern of hers, even when his dark wine red eyes persecuted her.

The words had matched, and though she did not react outwardly, the condescending tones had not been lost to her. With the barest tilt of her pristine skull she considered him before giving her reply. “No one deserves to be turned away, no matter where they come from, or who they are.” Her gaze holds steady with his dark eyes, and she even takes a single step forward that brought her ankle deep in the water. The blood is long gone from him but the metallic scent hangs around him, unmistakable and much the same as that particular look in his eye. “No matter what they have done, no matter that they do.” The statement hangs between them and Ambrosia wants to see what he will do with it, and if he would continue to look down his nose at her for being different than he was.

Genuine curiosity laced her pale features, and bright violet eyes speckled with green and orange remain focused on his red black eyes. The stardusted angel was not challenging by nature, but there was something about this wolf that left her wanting to push against the seams of her typical reality, and test the other water, so to speak.
