DJA Wed matinee entries easily deciphered - here's the scoop Posted on June 24, 2019 at 09:51:21 AM by StraymarJA
Basically, IMO best described it's a flip-flop of late games 7-12 to the early games 1-6, with a heavier mix of L (late) and E (early) players than you would get if there were just a few scratches.
So Wed mat games 1-6 actually best represent the games 7-12 set-ups and games 7-12 actually best represent the games 1-6 we recognize.
The early game doubles games have (5) E players and (11) L players, while that becomes a flip-flop for late game doubles with (11) E players and (5) L players.
The one BIG impact is Wed mat game 10 resembles a fairly typical game 4 we are used to seeing, EXCEPT Erik is playing in this game....so this should be an interesting game
Scenarios like this play havoc with those of us doing the detailed record keeping, however, I'm just considering the easy out of just renumbering the games to best accommodate my database due to this unusual circumstance, probably better than tossing the whole performance completely. Replies:
