Larka did not imagine that she would be left alone for long. It was how their world worked. Horses were herd animals by nature and with the exception of a rare few, preferred to be apart of a community of sorts. Larka liked to think herself the loner, the nomadic wanderer whose only pleasure was in finding the next adventure but in truth, she missed being apart of something more than herself.

She thought for a moment of returning to the Prairie, of finding the kindhearted copper stallion and rejoining his herd if he allowed it. But it had been years since last she saw him and his herd and she doubted he still walked the prairies anyway.

The sound of hooffall draws her attention back to the present and for the briefest of moments, a sense of wary unease washes over her silvery white body. Tiny ears stand at attention amid the dark charcoal tresses of her mane as pale eyes scan the landscape before her until a figure comes into focus.

A mare.

The woman does not rush her with ears pinned back and teeth flashing in threat. She does not approach with dark eyes or venomous voice, in fact she does not voice anything at all. Instead she pauses a respectful distance away and merely meets Larka's silver blue gaze with a friendly smile planted upon her lips.

Any sense of unease disappears as immediately Larka relaxes in the presence of the champagne fae. A single audit flickers in question as Larka takes a single tentative step forward, her proudly arched neck stretching towards the woman as ashen nostrils expand, inhaling the woman's scent in an exchange of her own. There are scents of the ocean there, scents of sand and lands far unknown to her but still it does not unnerve her. If anything it makes her all the more curious.
