The sky sun peeked through the grey clouds, perhaps the rain would hold off for the gathering, though perhaps even if it did rain it would make for a good adventure. However, nothing could truly squander her excitement as the spring breeze rustled her fur. Bastet's thoughts roamed to all of the curious wolves she would get to meet and perhaps even friendships she might be able to develop. It was true she was unlike her family in some ways but at the same time, she looked forward to something new, at least for now.

Teal green eyes scanned the horizon as Bastet began her trek towards the mountains. She had heard about a gathering for the wolves of their second year of life and admittedly she was nervous. Being much smaller than her siblings Bastet was aware of her disadvantages to the pack however she was the loving princess of the plains and she was determined to represent herself as much. Raising her posture to something reminiscent of a more proper lady as she considered the long-held tradition of the pack that held such an annual festivity. Today she hoped she could simply hold their tradition proudly.

Moving in a swift but elegant fashion Bastet made her way towards the river that ran into Mecor. Lingering just within the realm of Spirane she let out such a light and joyous call announcing this year's two-year-old party had begun. Settling along the edge of the water she waited in a hushed excitement with her tail thumping the ground. It would be one of the first times she would meet many other youths around her age that weren't family or pack. Not to mention she had high hopes to make good first impressions at least before her siblings came and her bothers were likely to keep a close eye on her.
