Zjeena appears to ignore Liland's snort, but she hears it. She won't say anything to him, at least not yet, but if he wants to keep a mare like Zjeena, he's going to have to get used to her boldness. A leader, male or female, does not stand meekly behind, especially not one with an Amazon upbringing. Zjeena will be at his side. She will step into the fray, whenever there is a fray. She will defend her family, for their safety and their honor. This moment may not be a moment of conflict, and this mare and foal may not be anything to defend her family from, but her approach to this gathering is just a hint of what intentions are truly inside her.
Zjeena nods, her warm smile matching Liland's welcoming introduction to the pair. Finally, she chimes in with an introduction of her own. "I'm Zjeena. It's wonderful to meet you Desirie, Libra." She acknowledges the mare, and what she can see of the foal sheltering behind her. "If you're familiar with the island, then maybe we could use your guidance too." Everyone here has something important to contribute. They may not know each other well, but the winds of fate have blown them all here, together, and she hopes they can make the best of it.
