Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

Even as the blood of the stranger coated his own tongue, Thor never felt the blood lust of other wolves. He only felt satisfaction that he had managed to weaken this monster that threatened him and his home. He only wanted the wolf to leave and didn't understand why the male attacked in the first place. The wolf held his ground as Thor's teeth sunk deeper into his jaw but he felt his teeth sinking deeper and the other wolf's stance slipping. He didn't want to take the wolf's life but he would do whatever needed to be done to protect Glorall. The moment the wolf got a moment, he pulled loose of Thor's teeth and Thor licked his lips focusing on the goal. What would the wolf do now?

The wolf surprised him by turning tail and running from Glorall instead of pushing on. Though Thor knew he'd managed to make wounds on the wolf, he didn't consider them life threatening so if the wolf had been so motivated to attack him in the first place, why give up so easily? But Thor didn't hesitate to follow the wolf, at least over the borders of Glorall, just to make sure he didn't change his mind and try to find another way around. Only when he was sure the wolf was definitely heading away from his pack lands did he stop following, pausing to watch the other wolf disappear into the distance. He licked the blood from his lips again, blinking a few times. He'd never had to attack another wolf like that before. It almost felt wrong, but exhilarating at the same time. He'd defended Glorall!

Sighing, he decided to head to the ocean to clean his mouth of the wolf's foul blood. Needn't catch any diseases the wolf might have.
