Balor spent a better part of his days lounging about Asteraia. Mother and Brother had gone off doing... who knew what, which left him much to his own devices. He interacted little with the pack, not for lack of wanting. Everything had been rather quiet. But spring was now upon them. There was new life and new things. He was two now, after all. What better reason to finally get off his rear end and do something for himself. When word got out of a two-year gathering, the grey and black male figured why not. It was on the farther side of things in the mountains. Apparently this was a regular thing every year? The one time Spirane opened its borders to all who had turned two. It seemed an odd tradition, but in the end he shrugged it off.

The youth ended up being a bit late from what he could tell. He was still well outside the mountain pack's borders when the call to gather had been made. It was a vaguely familiar voice from within Asteraia. By the smell of things, three of those gathered were the Pharaoh's children. His marbled teal eyes took in the sight of the growing group. He may not have met the other three from his own pack, but the scent was unmistakable. The other two he could not place where they were from. Yet closer inspection as he padded closer, Balor recognized Niyol. The odd and lanky boy he had met. "Well, if it isn't my favorite snack!" he joked as he gave a respectful nod to the Pharoah's children and packmates. His gaze flicked to Mochimal with a flash of his teeth. "And you brought dessert. Too kind, Niyol, too kind." he added with a chuckle. While he might enjoy the taste of wolf flesh, it was a true joke from Balor. After all, he wouldn't actually eat Niyol. His brother on the other hand, that was a different matter for another day.
