"It's perfect." He would have murmured the words in awe but they came out at normal volume since he couldn't hear it for himself. Still, there was a sense of wonder in his eyes as he looked around the den. It was roomy enough for two if Rett did decide to bunk with him here and it was still cozy enough with the roots of a large oak making a sturdy rooftop overheard. It felt safe and more than that, it felt like home. Now, if only he had something of Myrcella's to make him really comfortable. But of course, that might come off as creepy to ask for a tuft of her fur or something that smelled like her. He just wanted to be surrounded by her scent all the time. Was that too much to ask? He sighed and set to work, though. Some of the roof had collapsed in near the back so it took him a couple days to dig it back out and refortify it with mud and rocks. Once he was satisfied with that, he gathered some moss from the rocks and trees and some softer twigs and pulled out some of his own fur to make a nice comfortable bed off to the side. He even brought back a branch from Taviora just to set nearby so he could still smell his birth home when he wanted to. Sure, the scent would fade over time but for now, it brought him some comfort. He gathered flowers and brought them to his parents' grave sites, visiting with them once a week per his usual routine before returning home to work some more on his den. And when he wasn't building a home, he was exploring. He took Nymeria's words to heart and started exploring all the cracks and crevices of Spirane. It was so fun to discover new caves within the mountains and waterfalls and all kinds of stuff. He found interesting rocks to bring back to his den and even some flowers he liked the look of. Now, if only he could figure out how to keep them alive long enough to take them to his parents' graves next week. But he was growing restless and he new after 4 weeks that it was time to seek out someone for training. He didn't want to bother Nymeria. Surely, she had a lot to do as alpha.
