Aplos Riverside

Moladion’s powerful, winding river...
Aplos River is a broad, slow-moving river originating from somewhere beneath the mountains of Spirane and feeding Iromar’s moors in the south. The northern parts of the river are known for their strong currents, with the water becoming slow moving in the south. The riverbanks vary along its course, ranging from soft hummock grasses to small groups of pine, and sometimes nothing but pebbles and sand. Crossing can be difficult at times, but it can be swam or bridged by fallen trees or boulders alike.

Myrcella
A part of me has always known…

Life was being just a little hectic this past year. Both her mother and father had new litters: Three new little brothers and two new little sisters. There was little interaction between the two, but Myrcella had been quick to figure out that Tyrion had not laid with her mother again. Frankly, that might have been better. The sandy blonde young woman could not put her paw on it, but something had taken from her mother. She adored the boys, and cared for them dearly, but there was something just... off. She had the most interactions with Alagai, and the boy was perhaps a bit too inclined to harsher behaviors no matter what she might say to him. It worried her. Then of course of the twins, they were gems and Rhaenys was quite often her shadow. It boded poorly when Myrcella had to separate Alagai from her for being to rough, especially with him being twice here size even at a year old!

She sighed softly. Her spring green gaze drifted along the river as she followed it south out of Spirane. She needed a break. Sure, Tyrion was far better at being involved now, but even as she doted upon her siblings, Myrcella also did her best to listen to her father and learn his skill with words to step up one day to take his place. The years he had left were dwindling fast. And yet, he is still quite... virile, she said with a scoff. Yet she smiled all the same. Where would she be without that dirty old man, after all?

Still, a few hours away from the pack, away from yapping siblings was a far better idea. There was no need to run herself ragged. The weather was being kind, so the river wasn't terribly high this spring. As a result, she found herself a stepping stone path across. As simple task it was, Myrcella gracefully hopped from one stone to the next. She trotted where they were closer together and jumped where they were further apart. She paused about half way to give a glance about the area. Or maybe she'd take a swim. There were certainly possibilities on a nice day like this.
