Re(3): REAL JAI ALAI Posted on July 26, 2019 at 05:25:36 PM by chordo
I think we are all in agreement but talking about two different things:
- a fun, convenient and pleasant venue for betting
- the sport of jai alai which used to satisfy the aforementioned. Now, it almost entirely exists in Spain / Mexico City
The partido matches that jsolo so beautifully facilitates are wonderful to watch and do bring me back to the “good old days”. The level these guys play at is great. I simply cannot view mc nor Calder. They may be excellent athletes who are learning fast but this is simply not jai alai. Indeed, it takes at least 10 years to even approach a true professional level - that’s IF, the player has natural abilities. A real pelota on a real court with the speed, court size, spin, bounce, angles, endurance, mental toughness are all on “another planet “ compared to the new / fake version. Maybe an extreme example, but not unlike going to a well played wiffle ball game vs yankee stadium Replies: There have been no replies.
