Ragnar just grinned smugly at Floki the whole time Menkhet lectured him about weakness. Floki pinned his ears and sulked, upset that Menkhet seemed to be taking Ragnar's side, but Ragnar was eating it up. He even had the audacity to nod his head behind Menkhet in agreement. Floki snorted but jerked back when Menkhet snapped her jaws toward him. He gasped as she closed her jaws, wondering if it was usual for older siblings to kill their younger brethren when she opened them again and stopped him from falling with her paw. As she set him back down, he scowled up at her, though one ear flicked toward her as she told him to use weakness to his advantage. In answer, he glared at Ragnar. "You just wait, dear brother." Ragnar only grinned, his tail thumping the ground as if to say "can't wait." Floki ducked his head and pinned his ears again as Menkhet leaned down to lick his head, bringing his paw up to flatten his fur back down. As she pulled Ragnar toward her, Floki smirked, fully expecting her to harass his brother as she had done him not seconds before. Imagine his disappointment when instead, she giggled and went to nip his ear. Ragnar didn't even flinch, a rumbling sound starting up in his throat in mimic of a cat's purr as he pressed into her jaws instead of pulling away. Pain was almost invited by the red and black boy, reminding Floki of just how odd his brother was compared to most. Or, at least to him. As she pulled back and started licking him, only then did Ragnar scowl and bat at her muzzle with his paws, even snapping upward trying to catch her tongue if his paws didn't get the job done. He never was much for affection. He liked it rough or not at all. When she started to speak, Ragnar pricked his ears and listened, his eyes lighting up with eagerness as she told him to feed his nature. It was more likely the first part just went in one ear and out the other but he liked the last part well enough. Both boys tilted their heads when she suddenly spoke a different language, Floki arching a brow as he leaned toward her. "You speak more than one language, sister? Share." Of course, both were easily distracted when she said that she could help them with food. Ragnar leapt to his paws as she went to the entrance of the den. Floki slowly stood, more cautious since Menkhet seemed more bent on harassing him. She asked what they would like to practice on and he scowled thoughtfully. Ragnar licked his lips and the words came out in a growl. "Bigger." Floki snorted at him in surprise. Their mother had barely started feeding them regurgitated meat so how did Ragnar expect to eat something bigger than a hare or groundhog? He shook his head. "Don't be greedy, Ragnar. A hare should be enough for all three of us." To which, Ragnar set his intense gaze on his brother, his growl deeper this time, more demanding. "Bigger."
