Recently we are seeing a lot of crocodile tears flowing from everywhere imaginable about contribution of staff grades and promoting career growth for them! I think it is a scam! Career progress is intentionally blocked to retain cheap work force to run NHS. Now that the staff grades are leaving the work force like never before, and most of the trusts just can not fill the rota gap, they have come up with this new scam of putting a carrot in front of their nose and also making sure that they never get the carrot but keep busy in the never ending chase! Clever but very cheap!
