Runihura had gotten little from going to Spirane. Sure, he got some time with his siblings and those boys from Taviora. There was even another girl there that seemed oddly familiar. Still, back home he was in the comforts of the open plains of Asteraia. If anything, that mountain made him feel rather stifled. How could wolves choose to live there? At least those forest boys could get to open spaces, and that was better than the mountain. One of them gave Hura a rather funny feeling, something he could not quite place. All in all, not a complete waste though. Then of course, after getting back home mother's new litter arrived.
He had yet to get a close inspection of his new siblings. That was always quite a bit. Apparently that made seven additional siblings other than his litter mates. Hura had begun to wonder about the ones who resided in the ocean pack, but those thoughts were quickly dispersed as he stalked through the grasses. The weather seemed to be kind today. Unlike their poor neighbors to the south with all the nasty lightning storms lately. Hura had avoided the southern borders more frequently in recent days as a result.
After awhile, he found himself moving back towards the family den. He spent less and less time there. Already, Hura was showing signs of being a larger wolf like his parents, already broad and finally losing his puppy fat that would turn into muscle. His silvered gaze were quick to spy something small practically flitting about until it finally stopped. His ears swiveled forward as he slowly stalked towards the unfamiliar yet familiar thing. Ah... Another little sister. Of course, that then begged to wonder if she would be smaller like Bastet or larger like Menkhet? Menk was a little bit taller than him, but not so much one could tell unless they were right next to each other.
Then again, this one was the only girl from the new litter. That much Hura had been able to discern by smell. Still, it was good to see one of them up close properly now.
