I agree the U.K. medical school system has changed radically in the last ten years to problem based, communication heavy learning. This U.K. based exam has changed to reflect that and people who have learnt medicine and then ophthalmology in the older didactic style can’t cope. As an example a quietly voiced woman from a country where women have been traditionally repressed (even if they are not anymore!) will struggle despite knowing the whole of Kanski back to back. A confident Westerner can just blag it basically. Replies: There have been no replies.
