Members should be aware that the recent issue to applicable RAAF personnel regarding the Republic of Vietnam Cross of Gallantry with Palm Unit Citation by Defence H&A is incorrect. The issue should have been made to conform with the intent of the United States Military Command who originally issued this award in three distinct sizes (army, navy & air force) in order to comply with the United Stated dress code regulations. Currently, the award being distributed to RAAF personnel is that designed for the army. Defence H&A have been made aware of this error. Replies:
