2019 Farm Progress Show

I am very humbled by the ones who came to the Farm Progress Show and helped to make this event special and memorable to all the spectators as well as ourselves. I want to thank Carol Newman and Cheryl Cooper for helping with the tech table and computer, Jay, Ross, Jim, Brad, Duane, Cheryl, and Eric for helping with the judging and cleaning of the track. We had several different faces throughout the day watching our classes as we pulled on the hour and on the half hour after lunch. The people came and went with some returning later in the day to watch more. There were several comments; "I have never seen anything like this", "My dad (or grandfather) has some of these and has passed them along to me", "Is this something we can sponsor in the future", "What does it take to have a pull at _____(fill in the blank)", and i am sure there were several other comments and questions not listed. This was a great experience for all of us. Oh, yes, we also had the local CBS and NBC news come and do a shoot and ran the footage on the local news There are some celebrities among the members. We will sign autographs later. Bottom line, I had fun, feel that everyone else had fun, and it was a very exhausting 3 days. Looking forward to Boone, IA in 2020 and hopefully back at Decatur in 2021. Lastly, we did have the "Half Century" antique show ask what it would take for us to participate in 2021. They will be reaching out to us.

Lastly, I am over appreciative for all the help for making this event what it was. Words can't express the gratitude.
