The fem moved quietly in the underbrush, straying only a short distance from her web. She recalled the boar he had brought her and contemplated her options before her eyes caught a glimpse of a groundhog. It wasn't a large meal but a snack would be a presentable gift. If she had been a different wolf, perhaps she would have sought out more luxurious gifts but Sekhmet was assured this would get her point across. The kill had been quick and clean leaving the plump groundhog to be whisked away towards the center of her trap. Settling in against a tree she waited as the soft rain broke through the forest canopy.
