Re(1): Question for Stu or anyone who might know

No need for conjecture and I'm sorry for not getting ahead of the new Doubles Championship which begins Wednesday. We will have three doubles championships this season.

The first doubles championship ended on Sunday, Carballo & Fred won and split the $16,000 first prize. Bueno & El Barba took second and split $8,000.

In the first doubles championship a stronger player was matched with a weaker player as assigned by Sr. Management. The second doubles championship will last about one month - winners will split $10,000 and second will split $5,000.

A novel "draft system" was used to match players for the second doubles championship. Players were ranked by their "singles-only" win-percentage. The top-eight players picked from the remaining lowest ranked players (Bueno Picked first - Douglas picked last) to establish the teams. Currently scratched players who are not likely to return to play in the next month were not part of the draft. Asier is still out with a post-surgical broken nose, Legend is out with 3 torn ligaments in his knee including an ACL and Bradley is recovering from a partially torn Patella tear w/o surgical intervention. Asier & Juice will be "permanent subs" - however in order to earn championship points the team must play together.

The teams for this second doubles championship are as follows:
1. Bueno-Tennessee 2. Jeden-Cool Fitness 3. El Barba-Diaz 4. Ben-CRB 5. Anderluck-Fred 6. Kubala-Vuelo 7. Carballo-Limonte 8. Douglas-Rock.

Should be interesting.
