Menkhet had done well, taking the male down and then going for his throat before Cuirass could even finish telling her to end it. He could see the hunger in her eyes as she shook her head and as the male breathed his last, Cuirass took a step back to let her bathe in her new power. She'd had her first kill now, or at least the first that he knew of. She already looked hungry for more. His own eyes twinkled as he licked his blood stained lips and wagged his tail in approval. He held it in his mouth and leaned out for her, offering her to grab the other half of the heart and rip through it. The heart was soft and vulnerable so it wouldn't take much of a bite to bite it in two.
