She wondered if the stallion had something to prove. He obviously wanted Rougaru to think of him as more of an equal if he decided to challenge for her to use to get his own mare and son back. A part of her almost hoped it worked out for him. But she didn't like the look on his face sometimes, like he was thinking the worst of Zjeena with Rougaru. He'd probably try to blame her for it if something did happen to them. Would he try to return the favor? Let him try. She looked forward to the taste of his blood on her tongue. Maybe it would be as sweet as the creamy texture of his coat. He pawed the ground and she arched a brow expectantly, listening as he told her to hope for her sake that Rougaru didn't hurt Zjeena or his son. She snorted and rolled her eyes.

"Honey, you won't have any future sons to worry about if you so much as think about touching me." Her eyes narrowed in warning as she looked him up and down. She wouldn't go down without a fight. He then surprised her by saying they needed to go to her new home. She tossed her head and shrugged. "Fine, but don't expect me to like it. I'm fragile and this gossamer skin burns." She flicked her head toward her mostly white fur. Sure, she'd survived in Paradise but there were trees for shade and she didn't stay in the sun too long. A desert didn't sound all that homey to her. As he snaked his head out, she let out a high pitched squeal and bunched her haunches, warning him off with both hind hooves if he got any closer. Her ears pinned and a roaring snort left her nostrils as she launched forward out of his reach.

"You made the mistake of taking me, beach boy, so you'll find out quickly enough that I have never been like any other herd member, nor will I ever be." She watched as he moved toward the water, dancing to the side to let him go since she was planning on watching him closely. He wouldn't blind side her with another attempt to nip again, that's for sure. Only when he stepped into the water did she do the same, soon enough figuring out the route he was taking so she could swim with more confidence without getting in his reach. "I think you'll see that heat becomes me, almost as if the fire itself were within me." She sneered and chuckled before plunging deeper into the waves toward the desert island.

Once reaching the shores, she came ashore and shook off the excess water, though one ear stayed tuned on the stallion she knew would be in her wake. Glancing around, she could smell a few other mares and foals. At least it wouldn't be so lonely. Maybe she'd find some ways to entertain herself yet, here.
